About Sphinx
The largest monolith statue in the world at 240 feet long and 66 feet tall. Carved from a single limestone outcrop. The nose was likely removed in the 15th century. The dream stela between the paws tells of a pharaohs vision. The original paint would have been red, blue, and yellow. The head is disproportionate, suggesting it was recarved.
