About ArchitectureDB

A database of 125 iconic buildings and structures spanning human civilization, from prehistoric temples and the Great Pyramid to modern skyscrapers, bridges and concert halls.

Each entry lists the building's location, the year it was completed (or begun), its type, and a short description with notable facts about its design, construction and history.

Browse from the homepage by type, location or era, use the search box to find a building by name, country or keyword, or read the blog for longer pieces on architectural history.
