About Porcelain Tower of Nanjing
One of the Seven Wonders of the Medieval World. 260 feet tall with 9 stories. Covered in white porcelain bricks that reflected sunlight. Glowed at night from the lamps hung at each level. Destroyed during the Taiping Rebellion in 1856. A modern replica was built in 2015. The original tiles glittered in green, yellow, and brown.
