About Hagia Sophia
The dome rises 184 feet with a diameter of 102 feet. Remained the largest cathedral for 1,000 years. The architects Anthemius and Isidore were mathematicians, not builders. The dome has collapsed twice and been rebuilt. Switched between church, mosque, and museum multiple times over 1,500 years.
