Habitat 67

About Habitat 67

A modular housing complex built for Expo 67 in Montreal. Designed by Moshe Safdie from his thesis project. 354 prefabricated concrete units stack into 146 residences. Every home gets a private roof garden. Meant to rethink high density living. Became a beloved landmark despite early criticism.
